Introduction to CQB: 2-4 Man Room Clearing

This is a beginners level introduction to the world of CQB. We will discuss and train in great depth, the concept of CQB and why it is critical to add this skillset to our toolbox.

We will spend two full days learning the roles and responsibilities of 4-man (cell) CQB tactics. Each student will learn the roles of each assaulter on the stack. Regardless of where you find yourself on the stack, you will know what your responsibilities are. We will learn how to take down center-fed & corner-fed rooms, learn about opposing threats, priorities of work, hallways and intersections. We will start from a single cell/single room tasking and progress to a full-size company hit towards the end of day 2, with force on force.

This course will be full 9-hour days with breaks in between and an allotted lunch break.

OVERALL: It will be a challenging and informative 2 days for everyone. You will be forced to come out of your comfort zone but will receive lots of tools for your training toolbox. You will learn the most about yourself, your capabilities and your limitations. This course will establish your baseline of where you are in your progression of execution and give you a good guideline for improvement to the next level. Be ready to learn!

NOTE: (non-live fire) FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION WILL BE PROVIDED by KWA Airsoft and Project N1.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:
– Range belt
– Rifle sling
– Gloves
– GLOCK OWB holster
– Ear protection
– Eye protection (both sunglasses & clear lens)
– Proper range attire & shoes
– Note taking materials (PLEASE BRING THIS)
– Plenty of water, liquids
– Lunch + snacks

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
– Plate Carrier
– Helmet
– Range med kit including tourniquet
– Tool kit, Multitool
– Dump pouch
– Cooler

RESTRICTED FIREARMS: Simunition firearms will be provided.
